1. Acceptance of terms
By using ElimuDesk you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the site.
2. Using the site
You agree to use ElimuDesk lawfully and fairly. You must not attempt to disrupt the service, scrape it at scale, bypass payment, or access content you have not paid for.
3. Licence to use resources
When you buy or download a resource you receive a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable licence to use it for your own teaching or learning.
- You may print and edit the files for your own classes.
- You may not resell, redistribute, upload to other sites or share your purchase publicly.
- Whole-school or multi-teacher use requires a school plan. See the For Business page.
All copyright and other rights remain with ElimuDesk or the contributor who created the resource.
4. Prices and payment
Prices are shown in Kenyan Shillings (KSh) and include any applicable taxes unless stated. You can pay by M-Pesa or PayPal. PayPal payments are charged in US dollars at the rate shown at checkout. Your order is complete once payment is confirmed.
5. Delivery and downloads
Digital files are available immediately after payment and remain in My Downloads on your device. Because browser data can be cleared, please download and keep a copy of your files.
6. Refunds
Because resources are digital, purchases are generally final. We will fix or refund an order if a file is corrupted or missing, is substantially different from its description, or you were charged twice. Contact us within 7 days of purchase with your order or payment reference.
7. Requests and submissions
If you send us a resource request, message or other content, you confirm it is yours to share and does not break anyone's rights. We may use requests to decide what to publish but are not obliged to fulfil them.
8. Contributors
Teachers and publishers who sell through ElimuDesk must own or have the right to share what they submit, and must not submit copied or unlawful content. Contributor payments and revenue share are set out in the separate contributor agreement.
9. Intellectual property and takedown
If you believe content on ElimuDesk infringes your rights, email [email protected] with details and we will review it promptly and remove it where appropriate.
10. Disclaimers
Resources are provided to support teaching and learning. We take care to align them with the curriculum, but we do not guarantee that they suit every class or that they will produce particular results. The site is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind.
11. Limitation of liability
To the extent permitted by law, ElimuDesk is not liable for indirect or consequential loss. Our total liability for any claim relating to a purchase is limited to the amount you paid for that purchase.
12. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of Kenya, and Kenyan courts have jurisdiction over any dispute.
13. Changes to these terms
We may update these terms from time to time. Continued use of the site after a change means you accept the updated terms.
